Before departure

STUIE One is an RNP 1 departure for jets from runway 25 or 34L. Keep indicated airspeed at or below 250 kt below 10,000 ft. For runway 25, also observe the 265 kt maximum until SS500; both limits apply where they overlap. There are trees in the departure areas. The two runways have different routes to URDOS: runway 34L goes directly to URDOS, while runway 25 goes via SS500.

Runway 34L

During parallel runway operations, do not turn right.
  1. Climb on track 335°. The chart gives a 3.3% initial climb gradient and a 4.9% required gradient to URDOS.
  2. At 1,500 ft, turn left, direct to URDOS.
  3. Cross URDOS between 6,000 ft and FL110.

Runway 25

  1. Climb on track 242°. The initial gradient is 3.9% to 300 ft, then 3.3%. The chart also requires a 3.6% gradient to URDOS.
  2. At 1,500 ft, turn right, direct to SS500. Keep indicated airspeed at or below 265 kt until SS500, as well as 250 kt while below 10,000 ft.
  3. Cross SS500 at or below 9,000 ft.
  4. Follow track 314° to URDOS, a 9 NM leg.
  5. Cross URDOS between 6,000 ft and FL110.

From URDOS to STUIE

From URDOS, follow track 301° to STUIE, a 9 NM leg.

Sector altitudes and chart conventions

The 25 NM minimum sector altitude is 2,700 ft, centred on the YSSY aerodrome reference point. The 10 NM minimum sector altitude is 2,100 ft. Bearings are magnetic, with 13° east variation. Altitudes are feet above mean sea level unless a flight level is stated. These route diagrams are not to scale.
