This arrival requires RNP 1 capability. Maximum indicated airspeed is 250 kt below 10,000 ft, with any lower limits specified for the selected branch. Tracks are magnetic; distances are nautical miles. All altitudes are feet above mean sea level unless a flight level is stated. The table separates the small altitude labels printed along each leg from the mandatory waypoint crossing restrictions. Both branches serve runway 17. Join at MANDA using the assigned transition, then follow Alpha or X-ray as cleared.

Transitions to MANDA

Wagga Wagga navigation aids use identifier WG: VOR/DME 115.0 MHz and NDB 221 kHz. For the ARRAN transition, turn right at NONUP onto 047°. The diagram also labels 041° beside NONUP; the onward route to MANDA is 047°.

Common route after MANDA

Runway 17 Alpha

Turn right at BARTN onto 080°, then right at GOONY onto 170°. From TALAG, continue on RNP W runway 17 (AR) or VOR runway 17.

Runway 17 X-ray

At MEKON, turn right onto 072° for VADMA: 5.3 NM, with a 3,900 ft leg-altitude label. Cross VADMA at or above 6,000 ft, then continue on RNP X runway 17 (AR). AR denotes an authorization-required approach. The curved line beyond VADMA indicates the approach connection, not an additional STAR leg.

Radio failure in instrument conditions

Set 7600. Follow the vertical-navigation requirements without descending below minimum sector altitude. Follow the latest STAR clearance to the nominated runway, then use the most suitable approach.

Sector altitudes and chart conventions

The 10 NM MSA is 5,100 ft. The 25 NM diagram is referenced to the YSCB aerodrome reference point: the northern/eastern sector bounded by chart bearings B-125° and B-250° is 4,600 ft, the southern sector between B-250° and B-075° is 7,500 ft, and the western sector between B-075° and B-125° is 5,900 ft. These are the bearing labels on the ARP diagram, not CB VOR radial labels. Tracks are magnetic, elevations are feet AMSL, and distances in parentheses are NM. The diagram shows 12° E magnetic variation and is not to scale. Published change: revised procedure.
