Continue from ILS landing — part 1 after glide-slope capture. This page covers the final flap selection and missed-approach altitude. Confirm each required aircraft state before acknowledging the corresponding checklist item.

General

Use this procedure for the selected ILS approach. Verify the runway, receiver tuning and identification, approach course, applicable minimums and aircraft configuration. APP armed, localizer captured, glide slope alive and glide slope captured are separate conditions. Verify the appropriate active/armed flight modes and approach indications. APP-light illumination does not establish capture. The configuration must support the required sequence. A GS-before-LOC option does not change the checklist order. Autoland configuration alone is not authority to perform a dual-channel landing. This procedure ends with flap selection and missed-approach-altitude setting at glide-slope capture. Continue with ILS autoland and rollout; completion of this checklist does not establish touchdown or rollout.

1. At glide slope capture: Flap lever — As directed

Condition: At glide slope capture. When the stated condition is satisfied, select the directed flap detent. Verify the required lever detent and actual flap/slat configuration.
When: At glide slope capture.Expected response: As directedVerification: Verify the chosen lever detent and the required actual flap/slat configuration.

2. At glide slope capture: MCP missed approach altitude — Set

Condition: At glide slope capture. Set the assigned missed-approach altitude on the MCP at the stated condition. Verify the selected target independently of actual altitude.
When: At glide slope capture.Expected response: SetVerification: Read back the selected missed-approach target in feet.

Continue to landing

For the simulator dual-autopilot landing, follow ILS autoland and rollout and verify its channel and mode requirements. If the approach must be discontinued, use Go-around with the selected chart’s missed-approach route.
