Approach

Apply GPWS flap inhibit only when a flaps-15 landing is required. The fixed landing-light condition is At or above 10,000 ft, as stated by the checklist. At transition level, apply the assigned altimeter setting. After approach preparation, use exactly one landing procedure: ILS, IAN or VNAV. Establish the applicable landing-continuation and missed-approach instructions before proceeding.
1

If flaps 15 landing needed: Ground proximity flap — Flap inhibit

Condition: If flaps 15 landing needed.Apply flap inhibit only when the source condition “If flaps 15 landing needed” has been explicitly established.
2

At or above 10,000 ft: Fixed landing light — ON

Condition: At or above 10,000 ft.When the stated condition is satisfied, select the applicable landing lights ON. Verify the installed lights required by this item.
3

Passenger sign — As needed

Resolve the required seat-belt and no-smoking/chime selections from mission context and installed configuration.
4

At transition level: Altimeter — Set

Condition: At transition level. At transition level, set the assigned local altimeter setting. Verify the pressure-reference mode and indicated setting.
5

Update RNP — As needed

Verify the approach/arrival RNP requirement using mission data and displayed navigation-performance information.

ILS landing

Use this procedure for the selected ILS approach. Verify the runway, receiver tuning and identification, approach course, applicable minimums and aircraft configuration. APP armed, localizer captured, glide slope alive and glide slope captured are separate conditions. Verify the appropriate active/armed flight modes and approach indications. APP-light illumination does not establish capture. The configuration must support the required sequence. A GS-before-LOC option does not change the checklist order. Autoland configuration alone is not authority to perform a dual-channel landing. This procedure ends with flap selection and missed-approach-altitude setting at glide-slope capture. Continue with ILS autoland and rollout; completion of this checklist does not establish touchdown or rollout.
1

APP roll mode — Arm

Arm APP for the selected approach. Verify the applicable armed and active flight-mode indications.
2

Localizer capture — Verify

Verify the source’s lateral-capture requirement using active mode and signal/approach evidence, without treating APP arming as capture.
3

At glide slope alive: Landing gear lever — Down

Condition: At glide slope alive. When the stated condition is satisfied, select the landing gear lever DOWN. Verify the required lever position and gear indications.
4

At glide slope alive: Landing gear indicator — 3 green

Condition: At glide slope alive.Observe three independent green/safe gear indications.
5

At glide slope alive: Flap lever — 15

7

At glide slope alive: Speedbrake lever — Arm

Condition: At glide slope alive.Set the speedbrake lever to ARM. Use the applicable lever-detent conversion and verify the required position.
8

At glide slope alive: SPEEDBRAKE ARMED indicator — Illuminate

Condition: At glide slope alive.Verify the distinct SPEEDBRAKE ARMED annunciator is illuminated after the arming step.
9

At glide slope capture: Flap lever — As directed

10

At glide slope capture: MCP missed approach altitude — Set

Condition: At glide slope capture.Set the assigned missed-approach altitude on the MCP at the stated condition. Verify the selected target independently of actual altitude.

IAN landing

Use this procedure only for the selected IAN-capable configuration and assigned approach. Glide path alive and glide path capture are separate conditions. Verify the applicable active and armed modes. The checklist’s lateral verification is Localizer capture. The EFB IAN description distinguishes FAC/G/P from ILS VOR/LOC/G/S. Apply an explicit interpretation for the selected IAN procedure. Do not force an ILS mode solely to match the checklist wording. The checklist ends with flap selection and missed-approach-altitude setting at glide-path capture. Use the assigned landing-continuation procedure for the remaining landing.
1

APP roll mode — Arm

Arm APP for the selected approach. Verify the applicable armed and active flight-mode indications.
2

Localizer capture — Verify

Verify the source’s lateral-capture requirement using active mode and signal/approach evidence, without treating APP arming as capture.
3

At glide path alive: Landing gear lever — Down

Condition: At glide path alive. When the stated condition is satisfied, select the landing gear lever DOWN. Verify the required lever position and gear indications.
4

At glide path alive: Landing gear indicator — 3 green

Condition: At glide path alive.Observe three independent green/safe gear indications.
5

At glide path alive: Flap lever — 15

Condition: At glide path alive. When the stated condition is satisfied, select 15. Verify the required lever detent and actual flap/slat configuration.
6

At glide path alive: Engine start switches — CONT

Condition: At glide path alive.Select both engine start switches CONT. Verify both rotary-switch positions. These switches are separate from the fuel/start levers.
7

At glide path alive: Speedbrake lever — Arm

Condition: At glide path alive.Set the speedbrake lever to ARM. Use the applicable lever-detent conversion and verify the required position.
8

At glide path alive: SPEEDBRAKE ARMED indicator — Illuminate

Condition: At glide path alive.Verify the distinct SPEEDBRAKE ARMED annunciator is illuminated after the arming step.
9

At glide path capture: Flap lever — As directed

Condition: At glide path capture. When the stated condition is satisfied, select the directed flap detent. Verify the required lever detent and actual flap/slat configuration.
10

At glide path capture: MCP missed approach altitude — Set

Condition: At glide path capture.Set the assigned missed-approach altitude on the MCP at the stated condition. Verify the selected target independently of actual altitude.

VNAV landing

Use LNAV or VOR/LOC as required by the assigned VNAV approach. Establish the identified FAF and the correct along-approach distance before applying the 2-NM-before-FAF group. Distance to the airport is not an equivalent condition. Set the assigned DA(H)/MDA(H)-related MCP target using its applicable numerical value and reference. Before using the second-page condition Below 300 ft missed approach altitude, obtain its explicit interpretation. Do not substitute 300 ft AGL, radio altitude, or an inferred arithmetic rule. This is the supplied VNAV landing procedure. Use the assigned landing-continuation procedure after approach configuration.
1

Roll mode — LNAV or VOR/LOC

Select LNAV or VOR/LOC as required by the assigned approach. Verify the appropriate active and armed lateral-mode indications.
2

At 2 NM before FAF: MCP altitude, DA(H) or MDA(H) — Set

Condition: At 2 NM before FAF.At 2 NM before the identified FAF, set the assigned DA(H) or MDA(H)-related MCP target. Use the applicable approach datum and numerical value.
3

At 2 NM before FAF: Landing gear lever — Down

Condition: At 2 NM before FAF.When the stated condition is satisfied, select the landing gear lever DOWN. Verify the required lever position and gear indications.
