This is the RNP approach to runway 35, with LNAV/VNAV and LNAV minima. Use QNH. LNAV/VNAV requires Canberra QNH and temperature; the published procedure temperature range is −10°C to +57°C. Aerodrome elevation is 1,887 ft; runway 35 threshold elevation is 1,869 ft.

Join the final approach

Maximum initial IAS is 210 kt. CB2SG and CB2SD are 16.7 NM from CB2SM; MENZI is 12.6 NM from it. Do not confuse these route distances with distance to the runway threshold.

Final profile

The descent path is 3°, with 50 ft threshold crossing height. The runway threshold is 0.3 NM beyond CB2SM on the inbound path. After the last step, apply the selected procedure’s minima. The following numbers are 3° path checks, not replacements for minimum crossing altitudes or the landing decision. For the segment before CB2SF, the distance reference changes:

Missed approach

At CB2SM, turn right and track direct to CB2SH. Then turn right onto 158° and climb to 7,500 ft. Maximum IAS for the missed-approach turn is 200 kt. The plan view labels the direct CB2SM–CB2SH leg 002° and 6.3 NM; CB2SH is the missed-approach holding fix.

Holding at CB2SG

Inbound track 058°, right turns, one-minute legs, minimum altitude 7,500 ft. No DME limit is printed. The entry-sector diagram also labels 168°, 238° and 348°; those are diagram sector labels, not additional approach legs.

Minima

Altitudes are feet AMSL; heights in parentheses are the published heights. Visibility is kilometres. The alternate row prints height–visibility pairs: A/B 1,963 ft–4.4 km, C 2,193 ft–6.0 km, D 2,333 ft–7.0 km. No circling beyond 4 NM west of runway 17/35.

Frequencies

Sector altitudes and chart conventions

The 10 NM MSA is 5,100 ft. The 25 NM diagram is referenced to the YSCB aerodrome reference point: the northern/eastern sector bounded by chart bearings B-125° and B-250° is 4,600 ft, the southern sector between B-250° and B-075° is 7,500 ft, and the western sector between B-075° and B-125° is 5,900 ft. These are the bearing labels on the ARP diagram, not CB VOR radial labels. Tracks are magnetic, elevations are feet AMSL, and distances in parentheses are NM. The plan view shows 12° east magnetic variation, a 1:500,000 scale and a 0–5 NM scale bar.

Restricted areas shown

The map labels R450A from the surface to 3,500 ft, R450B from 3,500 to 4,500 ft, and R450C from 4,500 to 8,000 ft. These are the depicted vertical limits; the chart does not state whether an area is active during your run.
