This page preserves the curfew provisions in the repository’s fixed chart snapshot. The source names the Sydney Airport Curfew Act 1995, Sydney Airport Curfew Regulations and Air Navigation (Aerodrome Curfew) Regulations.

Times covered

The main curfew is 23:00–06:00 local time. Additional restrictions apply daily from 22:45–23:00, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 06:00–07:00 and 22:00–23:00. The source records an effective start of 22:45 local time on 24 December 1995 for the restrictions described there. The provisions apply to all aircraft, including propeller-driven aircraft over 34,000 kg maximum takeoff weight (MTOW). Some operator-specific concessions are not listed on the source sheet. It also notes penalties for unauthorized operations and for failing to provide information or providing false information.

Aircraft permitted during 23:00–06:00

The source lists these groups: Noise classification is an aircraft/operator input; weight alone does not establish eligibility. The international concession covers another specified class. Eligible aircraft must also follow the curfew runway restrictions and exemptions.
