Select the visibility condition
The chart distinguishes runway visual range (RVR) below 350 m from RVR above 350 m. It does not specify the exact-350-m boundary case.
The low-visibility route network is shaded grey in the source. The chart’s explicit aircraft restrictions below apply to the A380 when RVR is less than 350 m.
A380 restrictions below 350 m RVR
Above 350 m RVR
The low-visibility chart states that all taxiways are available above 350 m RVR. This is the visibility condition on this sheet. The separately published A380 ground-movement restrictions and Boeing 747-8 restrictions remain aircraft-specific references.
Runway-incursion hot spots
Two locations are enlarged on the chart:
- C near A and V, beside the northern end of runway 16/34. The inset shows the runway holding position on C, with V joining the C/A area.
- E crossing runway 16/34, south of the runway intersection. Holding positions are shown on both sides of the runway.
Layout
The aerodrome layout identifies the runways, taxiways and terminal areas. Runway 09/27 is 2,286 × 45 m and runway 16/34 is 3,657 × 60 m; both are labelled sealed on this sheet. The low-visibility chart also enlarges the northern C/A/V junction and the E crossing.
Frequencies
All frequencies are MHz.
Map reference
Bearings are magnetic and elevations are feet above mean sea level. Magnetic variation is 12° east. The map scale is 1:40,000, with a 0–800 m scale bar. Grid labels cover 37°39′ S to 37°42′ S and 144°49′ E to 144°52′ E.
