Navigation setup
Use QNH. Tune IMW ILS/DME to 109.3 MHz, with a 263° inbound localizer course and 3° glidepath. ML VOR is 114.1 MHz. This Z procedure uses IMW DME distances. For ILS, DME or GNSS is required. For the localizer-only approach, DME is required. The Y procedure uses ML DME and explicitly permits GNSS substitution with ML VOR as reference; do not transfer that localizer substitution rule to this procedure.Approach and descent
Enter at VISAS at or above 2,500 ft, 8.7 NM IMW DME / 8.5 NM from the threshold. Follow 263°. The glidepath passes MATKU at 1,670 ft, 4 NM IMW DME / 3.8 NM from the threshold. The runway threshold elevation is 407 ft and reference datum height is 53 ft. For the localizer-only approach, retain these step-down minima:
The profile also labels 6.9 NM IMW DME as 6.7 NM from the threshold. Do not substitute the ML DME values from the Y procedure.
Three-degree descent checks
Every distance in this table is to IMW DME.Holding and speeds
Hold at VISAS, inbound 263°, with left turns, one-minute legs, a minimum altitude of 3,000 ft and a 14 NM DME limit. The holding-entry diagram labels 083°, 153° and 333°. Maximum indicated airspeed at VISAS is 185 kt. ATC approach-speed ranges are 160–185 kt at VISAS and 150–160 kt at 5 NM from the threshold.Straight-in minima
These minima apply to categories A, B, C and D/Dₗ. Altitudes are feet above mean sea level; heights are above the 407 ft runway threshold.
The chart also prints special alternate minima of 700 ft / 2.5 km. These are separate from the standard alternate entries below; the sheet does not state the conditions for using them. Those applicability conditions remain to be added to this draft.
