Use this procedure when its prerequisites apply. Confirm each required aircraft state before acknowledging the corresponding checklist item.

General

Carry out pushback under the assigned ground-handler instructions. Maintain parking-brake coordination with the handler. A ground-call button does not establish clearance to move or a parking-brake instruction. After pushback is complete, establish the required hydraulic-pump configuration. Completion of the pushback procedure does not establish engine-start completion. Select Engine Start for the engine-start procedure.

1. Transponder — As needed

Set code and mode from the mission/clearance, then verify both. Code and mode are separate requirements.
Expected response: As neededVerification: Read back the actual code and mode; for explicit TA/RA or STBY select that named mode.

2. Parking brake — By ground handler

Set or release the parking brake only as instructed by the ground handler. Observe the current state and verify the requested result.
Expected response: By ground handlerVerification: Observe the requested brake state, and for ground-handler control obtain the actual handler instruction.

3. Parking brake response: last word is cut off in the source screenshot. — Note

Acknowledge the source note. Obtain the actual parking-brake instruction from the ground handler.
Expected response: NoneVerification: Acknowledge this note. Do not record it as a completed physical check.

4. After pushback: Hydraulic pumps — On

Condition: After pushback. After pushback is complete, select the hydraulic pumps required by the applicable panel procedure ON. Verify the required switch and system indications.
When: After pushback.Expected response: ONVerification: Require pushback completion/ground clearance and the intended pump states.

Continue after this procedure

No explicit source transition is declared. Select the next applicable procedure after the required completion and entry conditions are established.
