# Choose a flight scenario

> Compare starting conditions and goals for a complete flight or a single phase.

A scenario sets the starting state, weather and goal. Choose the full route to test the complete flight, or a shorter scenario to focus on takeoff or landing. Read the [submission walkthrough](https://www.narev.ai/docs/irl-gym/submit.md) to run one.

## Choose a scenario

* [Sydney to Canberra](https://www.narev.ai/docs/irl-gym/scenarios/yssy-yscb.md): Bring departure and arrival together in a full flight from Sydney to Canberra.
* [Sydney to Canberra, cold and dark](https://www.narev.ai/docs/irl-gym/scenarios/yssy-yscb-cold.md): Prepare an unpowered aircraft at the gate, then fly the complete route.
* [Sydney to Canberra, rain](https://www.narev.ai/docs/irl-gym/scenarios/yssy-yscb-rain.md): Fly the Sydney to Canberra route with rain adding another challenge.
* [Sydney to Canberra, 25 nm final](https://www.narev.ai/docs/irl-gym/scenarios/yssy-yscb-arrival.md): Start 25 nautical miles out and bring the aircraft in to land at Canberra.
* [Sydney to Canberra, takeoff to cruise](https://www.narev.ai/docs/irl-gym/scenarios/yssy-yscb-climb.md): Get airborne and establish a steady climb from takeoff to cruise.
