# KADOM Two jet departure

> KADOM Two jet departure.

## Before departure

KADOM Two is an **RNP 1 departure for jets from runway 25 or 34L**. Keep indicated airspeed at or below **240 kt until SS500** and **250 kt below 10,000 ft**. There are trees in the departure areas.

## Runway 34L

During parallel runway operations, **do not turn right**.

1. Climb on track **335°**, with a required gradient of **3.3%**.
2. At **800 ft**, turn **left**, direct to **SS500**.

## Runway 25

1. Climb on track **242°**, with a required gradient of **5.8% to 1,500 ft**, then **3.3%**.
2. At **1,500 ft**, turn **right**, direct to **SS500**.

## From SS500 to KADOM

Follow track **269°** through each waypoint in this order. Distances are for each leg.

| From | To | Distance | Crossing requirement |
| - | - | - | - |
| SS500 | SS501 | 3 NM | At or above 5,000 ft |
| SS501 | SS502 | 8 NM | At or above 8,000 ft |
| SS502 | SS503 | 8 NM | At or above 10,000 ft |
| SS503 | KADOM | 18 NM | — |

The required climb gradient is **6.0% to SS502**, then **4.3% from SS502 to SS503**.

## Frequencies

All frequencies are MHz.

| Service | Frequency |
| - | - |
| ATIS | 118.55 |
| Airways clearance delivery | 133.8 |
| Surface movement east of runway 16R/34L | 121.7 |
| Surface movement west of runway 16R/34L | 126.5 |
| Tower | 120.5 |
| Departure south | 129.7 |

## Sector altitudes and chart conventions

The **25 NM minimum sector altitude is 2,700 ft**, centred on the **YSSY aerodrome reference point**. The **10 NM minimum sector altitude is 2,100 ft**. Bearings are magnetic, with **13° east** variation. Altitudes are feet above mean sea level unless a flight level is stated. These route diagrams are **not to scale**.
