# DOSEL Two, Mangalore Four and NONIX Four jet departures

> DOSEL Two, Mangalore Four and NONIX Four jet departures.

This **RNP 1** area-navigation departure is for **jets from runways 16, 27 or 34**. Maximum indicated airspeed is **250 kt below 10,000 ft**. The source warns of **trees in the runway 34 departure area**.

## Runway 16

The initial published climb gradient is **3.3%**. Required gradients are **8.5% to OLSUN** and **7.8% to CHIMU**.

1. Track **160° for 2 NM to HORSH**, a **fly-over waypoint**.
2. **At HORSH, turn right**, fly **direct to OLSUN** (a **7 NM** leg). Cross OLSUN **at or above 5,000 ft**.
3. Turn **right**, track **010° for 11 NM to CHIMU**. Cross CHIMU **at or above 10,000 ft**.
4. Turn **right**, track **025° for 10 NM to OKIKA**.
5. From OKIKA, follow your cleared branch:
   * **Mangalore Four:** turn **left**, track **011° for 36 NM to MNG VOR**.
   * **NONIX Four:** track **025° for 27 NM to NONIX**.
   * **DOSEL Two:** turn **right**, track **043° for 28 NM to DOSEL**.

After the final named point, continue as cleared.

## Runway 27

The initial published climb gradient is **3.3%**, with a **required gradient of 8.5% to PEBTO**.

1. Track **263° for 8 NM to ATNOL**.
2. Turn **right**, track **332° for 7 NM to PARSI**.
3. Turn **right**, track **041° for 4 NM to PEBTO**. Cross PEBTO **at or above 10,000 ft**.
4. Continue on track **041° for 3 NM to PEART**.
5. From PEART, follow your cleared branch:
   * **Mangalore Four:** turn **left**, track **021° for 42 NM to MNG VOR**.
   * **NONIX Four:** turn **left**, track **035° for 35 NM to NONIX**.
   * **DOSEL Two:** turn **right**, track **049° for 37 NM to DOSEL**.

After the final named point, continue as cleared.

## Runway 34

The published climb gradient is **4.6% to 1,500 ft, then 3.3%**.

1. Track **340° for 4 NM to ROKDL**.
2. Turn **right**, track **014° for 10 NM to OKIKA**.
3. From OKIKA, follow your cleared branch:
   * **Mangalore Four:** track **011° for 36 NM to MNG VOR**.
   * **NONIX Four:** track **025° for 27 NM to NONIX**.
   * **DOSEL Two:** track **043° for 28 NM to DOSEL**.

After the final named point, continue as cleared. **Mangalore MNG VOR is 113.2 MHz**.

## Sector altitudes and chart conventions

The **10 NM minimum sector altitude (MSA) is 3,300 ft**. The **25 NM MSA**, centred on the **YMML aerodrome reference point (ARP)**, is **4,500 ft in the northern sector** and **3,700 ft in the southern sector**. The sector boundaries are labelled **B-080°** on the west side and **B-260°** on the east side; these are bearing labels, not VOR radials.

Tracks are magnetic; altitudes are feet above mean sea level (AMSL), and leg distances are nautical miles (NM). The diagram uses **12° east magnetic variation** and is **not to scale**. **Direct** means fly to the named waypoint without a published magnetic track for that leg.

## Frequencies

All frequencies are MHz.
