# CRENA Three and ESDIG Five jet departures

> CRENA Three and ESDIG Five jet departures.

These **RNP 1** area-navigation departures are for **jets from runways 16, 27 or 34**. Maximum indicated airspeed is **250 kt below 10,000 ft**. The source warns of **trees in the runway 34 departure area**.

Choose the runway sequence below, then the branch for your cleared departure. **HORSH and ONUTO are fly-over waypoints.**

## Runway 16

The initial published climb gradient is **3.3%**. Additional required gradients are **8.5% to OLSUN** and **6.6% to VIDAR**.

1. Track **160° for 2 NM to HORSH**.
2. **At HORSH, turn right** and fly **direct to OLSUN**; the chart labels this leg **7 NM**. Cross OLSUN **at or above 5,000 ft**.
3. Track **264° for 5 NM to VIDAR**. Cross VIDAR **at or above 7,000 ft**.
4. Track **264° for 17 NM to MARSH**.
5. At MARSH, follow the cleared branch:
   * **ESDIG Five:** turn **left**, track **253° for 23 NM to ESDIG**, then continue as cleared.
   * **CRENA Three:** track **265° for 200 NM to CRENA**, then continue as cleared.

## Runway 27

The published climb gradient is **3.3%**.

1. Track **263° for 6 NM to LILPU**.
2. At LILPU, follow the cleared branch:
   * **ESDIG Five:** turn **left**, track **251° for 45 NM to ESDIG**, then continue as cleared.
   * **CRENA Three:** continue on track **263° for 222 NM to CRENA**, then continue as cleared.

## Runway 34

The published climb gradient is **3.5% to 1,200 ft, then 3.3%**.

1. Track **340°**.
2. **At or above 1,500 ft, but not before ONUTO**, turn **left** and fly **direct to LILPU**. Both the altitude and waypoint conditions must be satisfied before the turn.
3. At LILPU, follow the cleared branch:
   * **ESDIG Five:** track **251° for 45 NM to ESDIG**, then continue as cleared.
   * **CRENA Three:** turn **right**, track **263° for 222 NM to CRENA**, then continue as cleared.

## Sector altitudes and chart conventions

The **10 NM minimum sector altitude (MSA) is 3,300 ft**. The **25 NM MSA**, centred on the **YMML aerodrome reference point (ARP)**, is **4,500 ft in the northern sector** and **3,700 ft in the southern sector**. The sector boundaries are labelled **B-080°** on the west side and **B-260°** on the east side; these are bearing labels, not VOR radials.

Tracks are magnetic; altitudes are feet above mean sea level (AMSL), and leg distances are nautical miles (NM). The diagram uses **12° east magnetic variation** and is **not to scale**. **Direct** means fly to the named waypoint without a published magnetic track for that leg.

## Frequencies

All frequencies are MHz.
