# Canberra terminal apron layout

> Canberra terminal apron layout.

The regular passenger transport (RPT) apron serves the main terminal on the western side of runway 17/35, south of runway 12/30. Use this layout with the [terminal stand table](https://www.narev.ai/docs/irl-gym/airports/canberra/charts/terminal-parking-stands.md), which gives every stand’s coordinates, elevation, aircraft capacity and parking guidance.

## Taxiway connections

* Taxiway C runs across the apron’s runway-facing side. It connects the general aviation area on the left of the diagram with the terminal apron and the runway 17/35 side on the right.
* Taxiway J is north of runway 12/30. Across that runway, taxiway H leads toward the terminal apron, while K branches toward C and the general aviation area.
* Taxiway B is shown on both sides of runway 12/30. Its southern portion joins the terminal apron area.
* Taxiway G connects the apron’s right-hand side toward runway 17/35, meeting the C-side movement area.
* C4 serves the general aviation apron beside the terminal apron. Use the [general aviation layout and stands](https://www.narev.ai/docs/irl-gym/airports/canberra/charts/general-aviation-apron.md) for the other GA access points.

These connections describe the diagram; they are not a taxi clearance. Reaching J or the northern portion of B from this apron involves the runway 12/30 crossing shown on the chart. Follow the assigned taxi route and verify runway clearance before crossing.

## Find the stands

The terminal curves around the apron. Reading from the left-hand end of the terminal frontage toward the lower-right end of the diagram:

| Area | Stand labels shown |
| - | - |
| Western end, nearest general aviation | 2, 2A, 3, 3A |
| Next group | 4, 4A, 4D, 5, 5A |
| Middle of curved terminal | 6, 6A, 7, 7A, 8, 8A |
| Continuing around the curve | 9, 10, 11, 12 |
| End of terminal frontage | 13, 13A, 14, 14A, 14B, 15 |

Stand suffixes identify distinct published parking positions. Select the full stand label, then use its entry in the stand table. A stand’s location on this diagram does not establish clearance for a particular aircraft.

## Map details

The printed scale is **1:6,000**, with a **0–150 m** scale bar. Magnetic variation is **12° east**. The slanted latitude/longitude grid and north arrows show that the runway and terminal are rotated relative to the page; page-up is not north. The terminal buildings, adjacent general aviation apron, access roads and runway intersection are shown for orientation.
