# Canberra northbound jet departures: AVBEG Three and CULIN Two

> Canberra northbound jet departures: AVBEG Three and CULIN Two.

These **RNP 1** departures serve jets using runways **17 and 35**, with transitions to **AVBEG** or **CULIN**. Maximum IAS is **250 kt below 10,000 ft**.

## Runway 35

Climb at **6.8% to 3,400 ft**, then **3.3%**. **Not before the departure end of the runway**, turn right and track **353° to VICKI**.

At VICKI:

* For **AVBEG Three**, turn left and track **321° to AVBEG**, then continue as cleared.
* For **CULIN Two**, turn right and track **009° to CULIN**, then continue as cleared.

## Runway 17

Climb at **4.9% to 4,800 ft**, then **3.3%**. Track **168°**. At **3,200 ft**, turn right and track direct to **ROYAL**, approximately **180°**. Turn left onto **075° to ONGLO**, crossing ONGLO **at or above 8,000 ft**. Turn left onto **356° to POPET**.

At POPET:

* For **AVBEG Three**, turn left onto **321° to AVBEG**, then continue as cleared. The depicted line passes VICKI.
* For **CULIN Two**, turn left onto **354° to CULIN**, then continue as cleared.

## Sector altitudes and chart conventions

The **10 NM MSA is 5,100 ft**. The 25 NM diagram is referenced to the **YSCB aerodrome reference point**: the northern/eastern sector bounded by chart bearings **B-125° and B-250°** is **4,600 ft**, the southern sector between **B-250° and B-075°** is **7,500 ft**, and the western sector between **B-075° and B-125°** is **5,900 ft**. These are the bearing labels on the ARP diagram, not CB VOR radial labels.

Tracks are magnetic, elevations are feet AMSL, and distances in parentheses are NM. The diagram shows **12° E** magnetic variation and is **not to scale**.
