> Canberra LEECE One Alpha jet arrival.

LEECE One Alpha is an **RNP 1** arrival for **jet aircraft** using runway **17 or 35**. Maximum IAS is **250 kt below 10,000 ft**, with lower limits from TALAG and GIBIL as described below.

## Runway 17 Alpha

1. From **LEECE**, track **256° to PADNA**. Cross PADNA **at or above 9,000 ft**.
2. Turn right onto **257° to GEORG**. Cross GEORG **between 7,000 ft and FL110**.
3. Continue **257° to ALDOP**, crossing **at or above 6,000 ft**.
4. Continue **257° to GOONY**.
5. Turn left onto **170° to TALAG**, crossing **at or above 5,000 ft**. Maximum IAS is **210 kt from TALAG**.
6. Continue via the [RNP W runway 17 (AR)](https://www.narev.ai/docs/irl-gym/airports/canberra/charts/rnp-w-runway-17-ar.md) or [VOR runway 17](https://www.narev.ai/docs/irl-gym/airports/canberra/charts/vor-runway-17.md) approach.

## Runway 35 Alpha

1. From **LEECE**, track **214° to AKLIM**, crossing **at or above 9,000 ft**.
2. Continue **214° to EKASA**, crossing **at or above 7,000 ft**.
3. Continue **214° to SLICK**. The diagram marks a **6,000 ft minimum** at SLICK.
4. Turn right onto **215° to FOXLO**, crossing **at or above 6,000 ft**.
5. Turn right onto **250° to GIBIL**. Maximum IAS is **205 kt from GIBIL**.
6. Turn right onto **325° to MENZI**, crossing **at or above 5,400 ft**.
7. Continue via the selected **ILS, RNP Z, localizer or VOR runway 35** approach.

## Leg distances and altitude labels

Keep the waypoint restrictions above with these charted leg labels.

| Leg | Magnetic track | Distance | Charted leg altitude, ft |
| - | -: | -: | -: |
| LEECE–PADNA | 256° | 11 NM | 3,800 |
| PADNA–GEORG | 257° | 12 NM | 4,700 |
| GEORG–ALDOP | 257° | 6 NM | 4,000 |
| ALDOP–GOONY | 257° | 9 NM | 4,400 |
| GOONY–TALAG | 170° | 3 NM | 3,700 |
| LEECE–AKLIM | 214° | 11 NM | 3,800 |
| AKLIM–EKASA | 214° | 13 NM | 4,500 |
| EKASA–SLICK | 214° | 12 NM | 5,400 |
| SLICK–FOXLO | 215° | 8 NM | 4,800 |
| FOXLO–GIBIL | 250° | 5 NM | 5,200 |
| GIBIL–MENZI | 325° | 2 NM | 5,100 |

## Communication failure in instrument conditions

Set transponder code **7600**. Comply with the vertical-navigation requirements, **without descending below MSA**. Follow the latest STAR clearance to the nominated runway, then fly the most suitable approach.

## Sector altitudes and chart conventions

The **10 NM MSA is 5,100 ft**. The 25 NM diagram is referenced to the **YSCB aerodrome reference point**: the northern/eastern sector bounded by chart bearings **B-125° and B-250°** is **4,600 ft**, the southern sector between **B-250° and B-075°** is **7,500 ft**, and the western sector between **B-075° and B-125°** is **5,900 ft**. These are the bearing labels on the ARP diagram, not CB VOR radial labels.

Tracks are magnetic, elevations are feet AMSL, and distances in parentheses are NM. The diagram shows **12° E** magnetic variation and is **not to scale**.

The diagram marks **222° at LEECE**. Published change note: waypoint RAZZI renamed LEECE; procedure name; validity indicator.

Chart **SCBSR04-179**, revised **13 June 2024**, from the fixed publication cycle effective **3 September 2026**.
